Dian li ba Village Party Building Training Center

The project was formerly known as the Dianliba Village Primary School. It was abandoned due to school mergers and other issues. Currently, there are three remaining buildings: the teaching building, the cafeteria, and the dormitory building. The exterior walls are a mixture of red bricks, plaster, and tiles, and the colors do not match the surrounding new rural construction. The county government has decided to renovate and utilize it as a Party building training center to fully develop and utilize the idle assets in the countryside.

Since the school's teaching building is a brick-concrete structure and is quite old, the design principle is to add a light wood structure. The structure form of the stilted building is adopted, with the upper addition supported by columns on both sides and separated from the original building foundation to ensure that the addition does not affect the structural strength of the original building. The wood structure form also blends well with the surrounding new rural construction, aiming to respect the local traditional architectural form with new architectural expression methods. The original cafeteria roof is transformed into a roof garden, and the first floor is partially opened to form a visual corridor. The exterior is supplemented with a waterside platform to enrich the spatial experience and ensure a smooth transition and introduction from the inner courtyard - roof garden - external landscape. Outdoor traffic is implanted in the teaching building, combining ramps, stairs, and sightseeing elevators to connect the teaching building with the roof garden, making the roof garden and roof walkway a core highlight that can be truly utilized. It not only becomes a center that can meet the needs of Party building training but also serves the leisure and spiritual entertainment needs of the surrounding residents.
